Austen Arnold has been skateboarding for most of his life. When he and his wife moved to Mineola, he wanted a way to plug into the community. He combined his two passions, Christ and skateboarding, to create “Shred the Word” and started leading weekly Bible studies at Mineola’s Iron Horse Skatepark. Sometimes, the best way to give is the thing that feels the most natural for you. Other times, it means going outside of your comfort zone. Regardless, there’s plenty of opportunities in Wood County for you to give.
