The Unity Mural in Mineola wasn’t just a statement; it served as a real example of community collaboration. Renowned muralist Luis Valle came to Wood County to lead the first of several murals created in the area, but most of the brush strokes on this mural came from regular locals. The artwork was designed with unity in mind, in more ways than one.
